The Millennium Book Project
is an online book filled with the
drawings, collages, poems, and written statements
of Girl Scouts of all ages in the
San Francisco Bay Area.

Submissions were requested in the
Fall 1999 B.E.A.T. Book

and received through the Spring of 2000.
At the dawn of the new millennium,
Girl Scouts were asked to submit
drawings, poems, and written thoughts on the theme:
“My Wish for Children of the Future.”

The council received many inspirational
and creative responses.
After careful consideration,
the following images and text were selected
for inclusion in the online book.

We hope that you thoroughly enjoy
browsing through the pages
to see what the girls had to say.

You may click on the navigation bar (to the left)
to jump to the various sections of the book,
which is arranged by age level,
or you may simply start here and
click on the “Next” button (to the right)
to flip through the pages of the book in its entirety.

If you encounter any difficulties or problems displaying or using
