Being
Sorry...For the Sea
Did I somehow hurt you?
Talking carelessly to you in the night...
Turning my back when you begged of me?
You raging but longing
For me to swim into you.
Did I fail to see you beautiful standing there?
Sad Sorrow
Slipping into the sea that is my tears
And those of everyone that's ever been born...
All that sadness can only flow
Back and forth and back and forth
Until it becomes...
Sweet Sorrow
Kissing the shores of our hearts,
Melting them into soft white sand.
Sand that we can...
Dig our feet into and moan,
Run rampant with abandon upon,
Let slip through our fingers,
Hold up to the light until we see the sparkle,
Build castles of anything at all with.
Anything at all.
If you are the sea,
Can you please (ever) forgive me?
